I’ve been to a few working holiday girls events and they’re always great fun! I met one of my closest friends there who I couldn’t live without! 

When I first got to Sydney in 2023, I knew no one! I went on a SWHG trip and it was so much fun, so well organised, and met some great friends I later moved to Perth and use the PWHG group to make friends, find events and also just for advice. I live in Sydney again now and still use the group to this day - I’ve met some of my bestest friends through the group, and it has honestly helped my get by moving to the other side of the world!

This was the best way to meet new friends while traveling solo in Australia. I met my good friend Lacey through this community, and two years later, I attended her wedding in America 

The events are amazing! Helped me settle in so well and got to meet amazing people. Helped me make friends and then go on to do more. Wouldn't have had such a great experience in Aus without this group

WHG has honestly been the highlight of my time abroad! Every gathering has such a fun, welcoming energy, I have been to 2 of them and I always walk away feeling happier and more connected. I’ve met the most incredible people through WHG and I’ve gotten to try unique experiences I never would’ve thought to do on my own. Couldn’t recommend it more!

This company isn’t just about a one off trip with a bunch of gorgeous girlies, it’s about friends and connections for your whole journey in Australia , also for LIFE I met some of my bestest friends on trips out with this company and every single minute was worth it. The events are brilliant, with icebreaker games that are always great way to start conversations with new people and all the trips are so well organised with hosts making sure everyone always feels included.

Working holiday girls has really made my experience in Australia so special. I had very little friends here when I first moved and now have met the most lovely group of girls and constantly making more friends and trying new experience I never would have done without knowing about (Brisbane) Working Holiday Girls 

Moving to Australia alone should’ve been so daunting and it definitely came with it challenges but it was made so much easier by having a likeminded community full of support

The working holiday girls was and is an absolute lifesaver for me. Before coming to Aus I was so nervous about coming here alone to make friends and I’m so glad I found this group. From full days out, to evenings, to markets, to sunsets. This group has given it me all and has made my time in Australia  making the moves from Brisbane to Perth so easy

The events I’ve attended by Working Holiday Girls (specifically Sydney) were nothing short of amazing, my time in Sydney would be completely different if I hadn’t gone along to an event. Thanks to the many events I have attended I’ve met amazing girls that have helped to make Australia feel a little bit less lonely and they also allowed me to meet my bestfriends which I’ll forever be grateful for. I will recommend these events to anyone that moves over to Aus and is looking to meet likeminded girls, all of the hosts are so welcoming and really care about helping to make new friendships and really made me feel so comfortable coming along. Even a year and a half into my Australia journey I still find myself attending the events by working holiday girls as it’s such an amazing, welcoming community.
